Wooden Beaded Fringe Collar Necklace

There's a touch of Egypt in this circa 1930's fringe necklace. A double layer of ivory celluloid links are bound together with brass rings to form a flat collar on which colorful beaded fringe dangles. Just loaded with beads of natural wood and painted red, green, blue, yellow, black and gray, this is a playful, yet sophisticated example of art deco costume jewelry, covertly influenced by the Cleoptraesque resurgence of it's time of origin. Each dangling set of beads, measuring 3/4" long, consists of a barrel-shaped bead and is capped with a little round bead of a different color and attached to the collar with brass hardware. Measures 16" long and closes with an old spring ring clasp. The celluloid double link collar measures 3/4" wide. The collar along with the beads measures 1 1/2" total.  A truly fab necklace of mixed media and mixed inspiration, all wrapped up into a must have and wearable collectible. This beauty, although gently worn over the years, does have some typical wear to a few of the beads, to be expected, and is still in very good condition and ready to show off to the world again! Sparkling Art Deco Coral Celluloid Cuff Bracelet

A fabulous geometric and, quite strikingly, Art Deco design highlight this super celluloid cuff bracelet circa 1915. The stylish and linear design has been etched into the bracelet and filled with white, and is accented by several faceted paste crystals. The two in the centers of the flowers are blue! This is a delightful little piece with handmade charm (there is an odd number of stones on one edge of the octagonal design) that really showcases it's uniqueness. There are a few stones starting to darken with age and there is a little loss of the white paint in the etchings of this cuff. The latter can be restored, but I wanted to leave it in it's original condition for you! The diameter measures 2 1/4" and the opening is 3/4". Celluloid & Carved Wood Bird in Flight

This little fella is awful cute. Soaring happily above the war-time woes in the era in which it was created, this happy, circa 1935, bird has beautifully outstretched clean and clear celluloid wings and lovely flowing tail feathers made of the same. His carved wooden body, nicely blended with his plastic appendages, is finished off with a painted red and black eye and a yellow beak (some of the paint is a little worn here). Lovely details on a lovely piece. Measures 3 5/8" by 3 3/8" at it's widest wingspanny points. Has on old c-clasp closure.   Item# 1142

Pair of Art Deco Glitter Celluloid Pins with Citrine Stones

Geometric lines and a fabulous color combination make this pair something special. Think fall, think leaves changing colors, think cinnamon and spices wafting from the oven as the smells of home cooked love permeate the crisp and clean air. And then think of how good you'll look with these pinned onto your favorite just-starting-to-get-cool-weather jacket or lapel. Circa 1925. Don't adjust your monitors folks...that little bit of bluish-green on the pin on the right is some unfortunate damage...but I wouldn't dream of splitting up this duo. Each pin measures just under 2 1/2" long and they both close with an old C-clasp.  Item# 1121

Yes, I have seen these little guys reproduced…but of course not nearly as well as this fabulous and original black, art deco celluloid mirror compact. Front slides away to reveal a compact mirror which measures 1 1/2" in diameter. Heart measures 2 1/2" long by 2 1/2" wide.  Item# 1122
