General Information

·      We accept Visa or MasterCard credit cards, money orders, bank checks, traveler's checks or personal checks within the USA. 

·      For international orders we will accept Visa, MasterCard, or International Money Order in U.S. Funds only.  We cannot accept international bank or personal checks.

·      Shipping is free within the USA.

·      All items are guaranteed to be vintage or antique.  We have no reproductions and no pieces newer than 1960, unless otherwise noted.  We try to identify the age of each piece to the best of our ability.   Please note the Timeline pull down for additional information as to the age of a piece of jewelry.

·       All items are guaranteed to be in good condition unless otherwise noted.  As with many vintage items, it is common that there be some normal aging and wear.  We will do our best to point out any damage.

·       We take extra care to fully describe our items, including any flaws. If you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering, please use our Contact Us form to ask us about the item before placing your order.   You can also email us at jewel@jewelnouveau.com.  

·      If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly refund your money (if notified within 3 days of your receipt of item).

Ordering Information

·       To place an order, select the Buy Now button for the particular item or items you wish to purchase. 

v    If  is selected, you will be directed to a LinkPointCart© shopping cart, which will provide you the ability to place your order.  Orders using Visa or MasterCard are handled using this button.  Please feel confident that this site is secure and will protect your privacy.

v    If  is selected, you will be presented with a form to fill out with the order information.  All money order or check purchases are handled using this button.  When completed, select to submit the form and then follow the instructions on the form to complete the order.

·       Items that are waiting for payment to clear the bank will be placed on HOLD until such payment is confirmed.

·       If you are need of a rush order, please use the Contact Us button or email jewel@jewelnouveau.com.   You should leave your phone number if you would like us to contact you by phone.  We check our email frequently and will work with you as best we can to try to get the item to you as quickly as possible.  Note that additional charges would apply for rush orders.

·       Sales tax of 4.9% is required on all Colorado orders.   If ordering by credit card, the sales tax will be added automatically.   If ordering with money order, bank check, traveler’s check or personal check, please add this amount onto the total.

·       You will receive a confirmation of your order via email.   If a credit card order, a computer-generated response will be returned to you within hours.   If a money order or check order, you will receive a human-generated response within 48 hours.

Pricing

·     All prices are in U.S. dollars. 

Payment Information

·       All payments must be received in U.S. dollars.  Please contact us if you need assistance with conversion to U.S. dollars.

·       If paying with a credit card, funds will be automatically transferred from your account to Jewel Nouveau within 24 hours. 

·       If paying with a money order, bank check, traveler's check, or personal check your purchase(s) will be sent as soon as the money order or check has cleared through the bank which could take up to ten business days (money orders & bank checks will take less time than personal checks).  Depending on your location and type of payment, please allow up to fifteen days to receive your order.

Shipping Information

·       Items will be shipped within 2-3 days after payment of an order is processed through the bank, unless you need a rush delivery (see below).

·       All items will be insured when they are shipped.  We take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage.  If, despite our efforts, your order does arrive damaged, you must work with the US Postal Service to file a claim. They will normally want to see the entire order (all contents and all original packing material). They will send the claim to us for processing. Do not repack and do not return the damaged items to us unless you are instructed to do so. This will void the insurance and we will not be able to give you a refund.

·       Shipping is either from Boulder or Platteville, Colorado and goes through the U.S. Postal Service.

·       Shipping is free to any location within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) and within Canada.   U.S. shipments will be sent via Priority Mail.   Depending on location, this typically takes up to 3 post office days to be received by the recipient.  Canadian deliveries will take 3-7 days.

·       Shipments outside of the United States will be sent via Global Priority Mail (unless your country does not accept Global Priority in which case it will be shipped by Air Mail).  There are some countries that we cannot legally ship to…we’ll let you know if there is a problem with your international order.  If using a credit card, $10 will automatically be added to your order for shipping.   If paying by money order, you should add $10 to the purchase price.  Global Priority usually takes 4 to 7 days.

·       Again, if you are need of a rush order, please use the Contact Us button or email jewel@jewelnouveau.com.   You should leave your phone number so that we can contact you as quickly as possible.  We check our email frequently and will work with you as best we can to try to get the item to you as quickly as possible.  Note that additional charges would apply for rush orders.

Return Policy

·       If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will refund your money, less the actual shipping and handling fees.  You MUST contact us and wait for our reply and instructions to return an item.

·       If you want to return an item, please contact us by email (jewel@jewelnouveau.com) or by using the Contact Us form immediately upon receipt of the item.   We will get back to you with instructions on how to return the item.  Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will issue a refund for your item if it is returned in the same condition that it was when it was sent to you.  Buyer is responsible for return Priority shipping and insurance costs.

·       Returned merchandise must be received by us within five (5) days of the date from which you contact us regarding the return.  A sale is considered final after two days upon arrival.

·       A 10% restocking fee may apply to returned items.

Lay-Away Policy

·       We do provide a lay-away plan.   The terms are that you can spread payments out over 60 days.   1/3rd of a purchase must be paid down initially, 1/3rd would be due in 30 days and the final 1/3rd would be due in 60 days.  If you are unable to pay off the balance within 60 days, the money is forfeited and the item(s) will be re-listed for sale.   No returns or exchanges on lay-away.   And once you start a lay-away, you can't apply the amount to something else.

Items on layaway will be marked HOLD, not sold until balance is paid.  If you are interested in any item with a HOLD, please email us and in the event that it becomes available, we will notify you first thing!
