Set of Faux Ivory Celluloid Hinged Bangle & Screw-back Earrings with
Stones-new with tags! |
This demi is OUTSTANDING! It is pristine, striking, loaded with intricately carved flowers and organic designs accented by sparkling rhinestones. The hinged clamper bracelet is 100% carved all the way around. Each arm mimics each other in design and has a large, flowing center flower surrounded by smaller flowers and fluid designs. The detailing on this set is absolutely superb.
Circa 1910, this bracelet has it's original sticker price tag on the inside which reads "1.98 p.t."
we just love it! The earrings repeat the center flower design and have metal screw-backs with openings that measure about 1/4". They are 1 1/2" tall by 1 1/8" wide. The bracelet measures 1" high and is more of an oval shape so it will ever-so-nicely stay in place on the wrist with a diameter that measures 2 1/4" by 2". When extending the hinge, the bracelet opening will get as wide as 3".

Multi-Color Wooden Beaded Cluster Earrings |
Clusters of stained, muted, multi-colored wooden beads, dangling with smaller columns of stacked beads make up these Haskell-esque, circa 1950 earrings. Begging to be heard, this fun and flirty pair measure 3" long by 1 1/4" wide when hanging. There is some definite fading of these colors (greens and yellows especially) that has happened over time, and the beads do show a bit of wear, but the fading is consistent and almost looks intentional. The hardware on these have been replace with new silver-toned hoops (not by us), although the rest of the metal on these is the original brass. Still, a fun pair of earrings that we couldn't resist.

One of these green tops shows two wear spots...please see photo. These have clear celluloid clips affixed for hardware and we must warn you…these will only stretch to 3/16" wide to get them on your lobes, so please, make sure this will fit you before purchasing (or you can replace them with more modern clips). Despite these small problems, these are so darned cute that we simply HAD to include them for your consideration.
