Sterling European Enameled Coat of Arms Charm Bracelet

This is a vintage European traveler's delight! Fourteen Sterling mementos document one traveler's journeys all through Europe: Starting with a red and white BOCKUM-HOVEL 9marked "KARO 900", then a castle in KOLN (marked 835), a figurine with MUNCHEN 800 JAHRE (marked with initials RL 835), a yellow backdrop with red and white checkers running across reading HAMM (marked KARO 900), a countryside scene of WARMENSTEINACH (marked 800 over a barrel-shaped makers logo), a massive black bird with wings spread out for DORTMUND (marked KARO 800), a beautiful columned building in BERLIN-BRANDENBURGER TOR (marked 835 with a maker's mark), another beautiful scene of BERLIN-FUNKTURM, a red and white castle scene of HANNOVER (marked 800 REU), a lovely old building in S.MARINO, (marked 800 in a circle), a nice black, white and red scene with some flowers on FULDA (marked 800 in a square), a red, white and blue striped flag for HOLLAND (marked CAV), and a beautiful windmill scene also in HOLLAND (marked CAV.). Our last little charm on this journey is a bell shaped charm...surely once working, it has since been flattened a little and most of the enamel on this one has chipped off, but the remnants of a flower can still be seen (perhaps German Edelweiss or maybe even Swiss). Wow...what a super cool piece of European history and ever-popular travel/souvenir memorabilia. The unmarked white metal chain measures 7" long and closes with a spring ring. Each shield charm measures 1/2" long by 7/16" wide. Have fun with this one!  Item# 2150

Sterling Enameled Newfoundland Souvenir Bracelet

Really well done and really cool! This circa 1940 Sterling souvenir bracelet is made up of little enameled shields linked together with O-rings. Ten colorful and detailed shields in all on this travel bracelet tells a story about an older Newfoundland, eh. As cool as this bracelet is, one of the greatest things about it is it's condition. It looks as though it has never been worn...a really great and ever so fun find. Measures 7 1/2" long...each shield measures 5/8" high and 1/2" wide.  Item# 2113

1933 World's Fair Art Deco Enameled Lavaliere

This wonderful piece came to me new, never worn, and still in it's original box! The enameling on it is absolutely wonderful! The design is 100% Art Deco in fabulous colors of robin's egg blue, chocolate brown and leafy green. This enameled pendant is suspended from a tiny plaque that reads, "A CENTURY OF PROGRESS-1933". Research shows this lavaliere to be a souvenir of the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago, IL. What a neat and collectible piece of World History! This necklace is strung from a white metal link chain and has a really clever art deco stamped push-in clasp that is marked "PAT'D". Measures 16 1/2" long with center pendant measuring 2" long (with plaque) by 1" wide.  See the following site for 1933 World's Fair collectables:  http://www.the-forum.com/collect/wf3.htm.  Item# 3108

Wooden Souvenir Painted Deer Brooch

This sweet little fella is whimsical and quaint, shy and innocent, and has traveled a long way from "Provincetown, Massachusetts" to join our collection! Circa 1935 and lovingly hand painted, this sweetheart exhibits red, cream and black accents with it's hometown name painted across it's midsection. This little guy has been lovingly worn and has some scratches on his cute little tail and hind leg (very minor here), some paint worn off on the "MASS.", and some crazing of the finish (giving it a wonderful 'antiqued' look). Also, the pin back has been replaced over the many years. A truly charming piece of Americana arts and crafts. Measures 3" tall and 1 3/4" wide and is 5/16" thick.  Item# 5116
