Wooden Beaded Fringe Collar Necklace

There's a touch of Egypt in this circa 1930's fringe necklace. A double layer of ivory celluloid links are bound together with brass rings to form a flat collar on which colorful beaded fringe dangles. Just loaded with beads of natural wood and painted red, green, blue, yellow, black and gray, this is a playful, yet sophisticated example of art deco costume jewelry, covertly influenced by the Cleoptraesque resurgence of it's time of origin. Each dangling set of beads, measuring 3/4" long, consists of a barrel-shaped bead and is capped with a little round bead of a different color and attached to the collar with brass hardware. Measures 16" long and closes with an old spring ring clasp. The celluloid double link collar measures 3/4" wide. The collar along with the beads measures 1 1/2" total.  A truly fab necklace of mixed media and mixed inspiration, all wrapped up into a must have and wearable collectible. Sterling Maker's Mark Art Deco Ring Set with Onyx and Marcasites

This spectacular art deco beauty just radiates with sparkle as it's bezel set coffin-shaped onyx stone is flanked by an amazing 52 marcasite stones! My, oh my, how it sparkles and shines, picking up each lovely ray of light that shines it's way. Done in a fantastic art deco style, this circa 1920's ring is done in a beautiful solid sterling, marked on the band, as is it's maker's mark of a U with arrows pointing towards it for Uncas Manufacturing Co., starting in 1911. This particular mark has been used since 1919. The back of this ring is also embellished with an art deco design engraved in the silver, giving it even more flapper pizzazz. A truly lovely and collectible piece of costume jewelry history. The total measurements of the face of the ring including the sterling setting are 1.1 inches long by .7 inches wide. It measures a size 4.5, perfect for that pinky finger for which it was originally made, and weighs 4.6 grams. Etched Victorian Locket with Emerald and White Stones on Original Chain - Marked

This piece is Victoriana charm and elegance at it's best. A beautifully engraved design on the cover of this rolled gold locket is embellished with a delightful combination of white and grass green paste stones resembling sparkling little diamonds and emeralds. The inside of this locket gets even more interesting as it is marked W. N. Co. on the picture frames, which hold original photos, appearing to be daguerrotypes, of a handsome Victorian couple. This dates this locket as far back as the mid 1800's to late 1800's. The locket face, measuring 1-1/8" round is strung on it's original 12 karat gold filled chain, marked "1/20 12K GF", and measuring 24-1/2" long. This is an exciting and very complete piece of Americana history.  Item# 2125

Art Deco 10 Karat Yellow Gold Ring with Lavendar Set

The band, measuring a size 7 1/2, is marked with an encircled "G" and "10K". A beautiful speciman of circa 1930's finger jewelry. The stone measures 1.1 cm (.43 in.) by .9 cm (.35 in.) and the ring weighs 2.2 grams. The glass stone is unfortunately a little rough around the edges of the cuts and slightly scratched on the table when examined closely. Filigree Edwardian Lavaliere with Lovely Pink Sets and Pink Enamel

Pretty doesn't even begin to describe how lovely this pink filigreed and millegrained Edwardian lavaliere. Pink enamel in the shape of Flappers plumed headdress decorates the pendant portion and complimenting the three open-backed, prong-set, PINK faceted crystals. Every large filigreed link on this white metal necklace is different, save for the decorative linked chain that attaches the closure hardware. Really nice details and a strange bending on the pendant give this lavaliere uniqueness. It is as if someone has folded over the bottom pendant to make it square, but alas, it appears the maker has intended to do this. It makes the pendant protrude while being worn and frames the main, center pink crystal quite nicely. Circa 1920 and so much fun to wear. Measures 16" long...two-piece pendant hangs down another 2".  Item# 2144

Filigree Camphor Glass Crystal Pendant on Sterling Chain

This is just one of the most gorgeous pieces of 1920's jewelry that we have. Framed in a beautiful, gleaming white filigreed border (probably unmarked rhodium or Sterling coated rhodium), this handsomely carved camphor glass crystal is enhanced by a wonderful filigreed Art Deco center decorated with a single faceted "paste stone". Gorgeous period detail on the filigree and millegraine work on this one. The chain it is on is a delicious overlapping-linked chain which gives it spiraling depth. Marked "STERLING" on the spring ring, this leads us to believe that maybe the pendant is also fashioned from a Sterling base as well (quite common at this time). What a superb and lovely example of 1920's Edwardian fashion. Elegant, sophisticated, and gorgeous. We get excited just thinking about this piece. Norwegian Blue Enamel on Sterling Bracelet

Scandinavian jewelry collecting has really been on the rise! Metal worked jewelry (what they are particularly good at) is sought after and enameled Sterling is the highest on that list. That being said, we are pleased to present this circa 1955 Norwegian, Sterling, cloisonné enameled bracelet. Reminiscent of a romantic Viking and mythological fishing and ocean-loving culture of the past, this bracelet evokes feelings of the mighty sea. In a soothing shade of light ocean blue, this sea-shell like circular linked bracelet is just gorgeous. These eight hefty, enameled circles (like perfect shells found on a shady, white sand beach) have an applied silver bead (pearl in the oyster shell) where they are craftily hinged together. There is a hidden box clamp attached to one of these hinges for easy opening and closing. A sterling linked safety chain is also attached here for added insurance. A beautiful and collectable piece of Scandinavian Silver jewelry. Measures 7" long...each circular piece measures 7/8" round. Marked "925 S STERLING (picture of an anchor) MADE IN NORWAY" on the box clasp casing and and again marked "STERLING" (twice) on the spring ring clasp.  Item# 2114

Sterling European Enameled Coat of Arms Charm Bracelet

Our last little charm on this journey is a bell shaped charm...surely once working, it has since been flattened a little and most of the enamel on this one has chipped off, but the remnants of a flower can still be seen (perhaps German Edelweiss or maybe even Swiss). Filigree Sterling Necklace with Faceted Indigo Stone

This gleaming white metal (probably rhodium or rhodium coated Sterling) filigree pendant is gorgeous. Circa 1920's, the filigree and millegraining on this is flawless and pretty while the faceted, pale medium blue, translucent stone is breathtaking. The chain it is on is marked "STERLING", but appears to have a rhodium-type finish, which leads us to believe that the pendant might be made the same way. The only marking on it is on the back of the bail and reads "...MFG CO" the beginning has been worked away into the making of the bail. Beautiful and understated Edwardian design on this little gem. It is a sweet and subtle way to show your love of this time period. Chain measures 24" long and closes with a spring ring. Pendant measures 1 1/4" long with detailed bail by 3/4" wide.   Item# 2117

Sparkling Art Deco Coral Celluloid Cuff Bracelet

A fabulous geometric and, quite strikingly, Art Deco design highlight this super celluloid cuff bracelet circa 1915. The stylish and linear design has been etched into the bracelet and filled with white, and is accented by several faceted paste crystals. The two in the centers of the flowers are blue! This is a delightful little piece with handmade charm (there is an odd number of stones on one edge of the octagonal design) that really showcases it's uniqueness. There are a few stones starting to darken with age and there is a little loss of the white paint in the etchings of this cuff. The latter can be restored, but I wanted to leave it in it's original condition for you! The diameter measures 2 1/4" and the opening is 3/4". It has a little bit of give so one can get it on, but too much pressure could break this wonderful piece...I would advise a smaller wristed person to take this one home!  Item# 1109
