It all started with a young girl of 19, a job at a Hep Vintage Clothing and Home Accessory store, and a love of all things vintage.

           By the time I held my first piece of Bakelite jewelry in my hands, examining it and breathing in its infamous odor, I was hooked and addicted to finding and collecting old jewelry.  My dear Mother, with whom I’ve always been very close, eventually caught the fever too, and so off we were—reading, learning, and inquiring about antique jewelry…all of the time.  Over the years our collections have grown and we have decided to expand, collecting for more than just us.  We would like to share our selections with others who can love and appreciate the wonders of antiquated and vintage jewelry as much as we do.  It certainly is a fascinating journey through history, art movements, stylistic genres and fashion trends.

            My Mother, who has recently retired as a computer systems engineer with plenty of technical experience, found herself with time to develop our website so she is also the Webmaster for the site.  I take the photos and do the writing.  We both scour the countryside looking for our treasures (and loving every minute of it).  It’s entirely a family affair!

            We are located in and around the Denver/Boulder area of Colorado, USA, nestled proudly up against the wonderful and amazingly beautiful Rocky Mountains.  My mother has lived here for 36 years and I was born and raised here.  We have both really enjoyed living, learning, working and raising our families here.  There are also some great jewelry finds!
