A double layer of ivory celluloid links are bound together with brass rings to form a flat collar on which colorful beaded fringe dangles. Just loaded with beads of natural wood and painted red, green, blue, yellow, black and gray, this is a playful, yet sophisticated example of art deco costume jewelry, covertly influenced by the Cleoptraesque resurgence of it's time of origin. Marcasites
|
This spectacular art deco beauty just radiates with sparkle as it's bezel set coffin-shaped onyx stone is flanked by an amazing 52 marcasite stones! My, oh my, how it sparkles and shines, picking up each lovely ray of light that shines it's way. Done in a fantastic art deco style, this circa 1920's ring is done in a beautiful solid sterling, marked on the band, as is it's maker's mark of a U with arrows pointing towards it for Uncas Manufacturing Co., starting in 1911. This particular mark has been used since 1919. The back of this ring is also embellished with an art deco design engraved in the silver, giving it even more flapper pizzazz. A truly lovely and collectible piece of costume jewelry history. The total measurements of the face of the ring including the sterling setting are 1.1 inches long by .7 inches wide. It measures a size 4.5, perfect for that pinky finger for which it was originally made, and weighs 4.6 grams. It must be noted that the band on this guy is slightly bent

Art Deco 10 Karat Yellow Gold Ring with Lavendar Set

The glass stone is unfortunately a little rough around the edges of the cuts and slightly scratched on the table when examined closely. Filigree Edwardian Lavaliere with Lovely Pink Sets and Pink Enamel |
Pretty doesn't even begin to describe how lovely this pink filigreed and millegrained Edwardian lavaliere. Pink enamel in the shape of Flappers plumed headdress decorates the pendant portion and complimenting the three open-backed, prong-set, PINK faceted crystals. Every large filigreed link on this white metal necklace is different, save for the decorative linked chain that attaches the closure hardware. Really nice details and a strange bending on the pendant give this lavaliere uniqueness. It is as if someone has folded over the bottom pendant to make it square, but alas, it appears the maker has intended to do this. It makes the pendant protrude while being worn and frames the main, center pink crystal quite nicely. Circa 1920 and so much fun to wear. Measures 16" long...two-piece pendant hangs down another 2".

The chain it is on is a delicious overlapping-linked chain which gives it spiraling depth. Norwegian Blue Enamel on Sterling Bracelet
|
Scandinavian jewelry collecting has really been on the rise! Metal
worked jewelry (what they are particularly good at) is sought after and enameled Sterling is the highest on that list. That being said, we are pleased to present this circa 1955 Norwegian, Sterling,
cloisonné enameled bracelet. Reminiscent of a romantic Viking and mythological fishing and ocean-loving culture of the past, this bracelet evokes feelings of the mighty sea. In a soothing shade of light ocean blue, this sea-shell like circular linked bracelet is just gorgeous. These eight hefty, enameled circles (like perfect shells found on a shady, white sand beach) have an applied silver bead (pearl in the oyster shell) where they are craftily hinged together. There is a hidden box clamp attached to one of these hinges for easy opening and closing. A sterling linked safety chain is also attached here for added
insurance. A beautiful and collectable piece of Scandinavian Silver jewelry. Measures 7" long...each circular piece measures 7/8" round. Marked "925 S STERLING (picture of an anchor) MADE IN NORWAY" on the box clasp casing and and again marked "STERLING" (twice) on the spring ring clasp.

Sparkling Art Deco Coral Celluloid Cuff Bracelet |
A fabulous geometric and, quite strikingly, Art Deco design highlight this super celluloid cuff bracelet circa 1915. The stylish and linear design has been etched into the bracelet and filled with white, and is accented by several faceted paste crystals. The two in the centers of the flowers are blue! This is a delightful little piece with handmade charm (there is an odd number of stones on one edge of the octagonal design) that really showcases it's uniqueness. There are a few stones starting to darken with age and there is a little loss of the white paint in the etchings of this cuff. The latter can be restored, but I wanted to leave it in it's original condition for you! The diameter measures 2 1/4" and the opening is 3/4".
